Kites, cornhole, & motorcycles...oh my!

There was really no wind to sufficiently fly a kite on this day. That, however, did not stop the kids from running around pulling their kites through the air…well except for Kara. This task seemed to require a little more coordination than she was capable of.

Not really sure where this game gets its name from. There is definitely no corn involved. Suffice it to say our family is terrible at this game with the lone exception being Papa Marshall. He was kind enough to school us on the finer points of throwing a beanbag through a hole in an angled piece of wood. This also led to a rather fierce exchange between Mimi & Papa on proper cornhole technique.

Holy harley - the legend of the biker pastor

We knew Randy was on his way about a 1/2 a mile down the road. The pipes on the Harley were bellowing through the crisp March air. He took turns putting each child there in danger & simultaneously igniting the fire within each of them for speed.
